Welcome to Appcelerator's Titanium+Geo Demonstration!
Appcelerator’s Titanium+Geo provides a dashboard for developers to track where, when and how their mobile apps are being used. This demo illustrates how Titanium+Geo tracks the use of a mobile app that serves and redeems coupons for the PizzaLand restaurant chain.

  • Check out the pattern of coupons delivered and redeemed over the course of the day in relation to retail outlets.

  • Watch as users commute to work in the morning and either head home or stay in the city for dinner.

  • Layer in Tweets mentioning pizza, competing pizza joint locations and demographics for a more strategic view of the market landscape.

You are the owner of a chain of Pizzaland chain with several Bay Area locations.

Understand what your customers are doing with your promotions.

  1. Go to the "Layers" section on the far right hand side of the browser. Click on ✓ under "Pizzaland Locations." You will see all of your store locations appear on the map.
  2. This morning at 7:00am you sent out a coupon promotion. Click on the ✓ under "Coupons Sent." Now you will see where everyone was when they received the coupon. Most likely these people were at their homes at this hour.
  3. In order to see the coupons redeemed, click on the ✓ under "Coupons Redeemed."
  4. Now scroll down the browser and look in the lower left hand corner. You will see a timetable. Click on the "Play" button. As the timetable moves through the day, you will see when and where your coupons have been redeemed.
You want to expand and build a new store. Let’s look at supply and demand to see where there is unmet opportunity.

  1. Unselect the ✓ for "Coupons Sent," and "Coupons Redeemed." You will still see your own locations on the map.
  2. Click on the ✓ under "Competitors." Now you will see where your competitors are located.
  3. Click on the ✓ under "Tweets with Pizza."
  4. Now you will see where the demand for pizza is (where people are when they’re tweeting about pizza), where you and your competitors are, and where there are unmet opportunities.
